Listen, I’m not going to write a bunch of nonsense here. I like to read and write and that’s how my content was born. I read books with sticky tabs to make sure I mark a section I find valuable and I also have a companion notebook where I take notes on what I read. For me, there’s no other way to read.
I worked in news for 10 years right out of college. Worked as a production assistant, news writer and was even the newsroom editor on occasion. That’s exactly why I’m here. I’m very “newsy” for as far back as I can remember and that’s how I like to deliver my content. The newsy side of me likes to decode information we all may benefit from.
Speaking of decoding and exploring, I wrote a novel called The Expiration Date by V.L. Arias and I published it under my own publishing company Brown Leaf Publishing. It’s a world where everyone knows the exact date of their death and well, how would you live if you knew you had X amount of years to live but didn’t know how you would die?
Because after all, you still have to make a living and provide for yourself and/or your family until that day comes. You can’t jump out of planes and take trips around the world without a stable income.

So then, how would you live out your life taking all that into consideration?
The book follows a small community in Connecticut with a wide range of Expiration Dates. Some have close dates, others have longer ones and we watch how each of them live their lives knowing the exact date of their death. To read it, click here.
